The Wild Game Dinner of 2026 was a HUGE Success!
On MARCH 21st 2026 the Haliburton Fish Hatchery hosted a Wild Game Dinner. Some of the meat served was donated by local hunters from their personal catch. Other types of meat were purchased from Wild Game Farms. We served 180 people in the Main Hall of the Haliburton Royal Canadian Legion.

Meats:
- Venison
- Moose
- Bear
- Duck Soup
- Partridge Soup
- Elk (purchased)
- Bison (purchased)
- Wild Boar (purchased)
Fish:
- Rainbow Trout (purchased)
- Arctic Char (purchased)
Along with potatoes, and various vegetables.
And don't forget desserts!
During the festivities we also had the Silent Auction offerings for people to bid on. All Items donated by Local Merchants and Individuals who Support our Community Fish Hatchery.
