Annual Wild Game Dinner
and Silent Auction

The Wild Game Dinner of 2026 was a HUGE Success!
On MARCH 20th 2027 the Haliburton Fish Hatchery will be hosting a Wild Game Dinner. Some of the meat served is donated by local hunters from their personal catch. Other types of meat are purchased from Wild Game Farms. We served 180 people in the Main Hall of the Haliburton Royal Canadian Legion.
Our Menu for 2027
Meats:
- Venison
- Moose
- Bear
- Duck Soup
- Partridge Soup
- Elk (purchased)
- Bison (purchased)
- Wild Boar (purchased)
Fish:
- Rainbow Trout (purchased)
- Arctic Char (purchased)
Along with potatoes, and various vegetables.
And don't forget desserts!
During the festivities we also have the Silent Auction offerings for people to bid on. All Items donated by Local Merchants and Individuals who Support our Community Fish Hatchery.
